This is my basic template which I will insert my pictures and text for my contents page on to.
I started by adding the title of the page, contents, to the top of the page in large bold capital letters. I made it black so it would stand out on the white background. Underneath I added the name of the magazine so people knew what they were reading, the issue number and date. I made them blue, the feature colour for this page. I then added titles for the sections within my contents to organise the articles more and made them blue too. I also slightly thickened the lines separating the three columns so they were more visible. I chose this simple, organised layout as my target audience preferred simplistic layouts as they're easy to find things and the type of article they are looking for is easy to find.
