These are my sketches for my double page spread, the left page will be the picture, a medium close up of the artist, and the right will have the title, subheading, text and everything else on it. These are also not very detailed but as time goes on I will get more ideas and discover new things I want to add to the pages, although I want to keep the design very simplistic. The background will be black across the whole page to go with the dark colour scheme. The title will be in large capitals at the top of the right page in the feature colour which will most likely be red. There will be a subheading in smaller white text with key words in the feature colour. The text, which will be in three columns will be in white with a large quote in the middle, the quotation marks and the drop capital at the beginning of the article will also be in the feature colour. There will be a small tab at the top of the right page stating what section the article is and and what/who the article is about. There will also be page numbers in white at the bottom of the pages next to a white Z so you know which article you are reading throughout.
